Lucky devil.  If I knew how to do that with the vpn, I might be willing to give it a go, then again I just signed up for some Steam beta site that tells me that I own over $2700 in games on Steam (most of them from those pesky huge holiday sales and under $20.00 games) so not sure I'd like to lose that kind of scratch.  But I'd probably at least try it just to see if it would work.

If you decide to do it, please do some extra research first.  I don't want to be giving misleading information, I just saw in a few places that steam does not have any restriction about your ip when playing.

Congrats Khalan!  I'll wait and keep up on your thread to see what everyone thinks about ramdisk before I make the jump myself (only have 6gb, and who knows, maybe the load times are great without it).

Strange... Steam no longer shows Skyrim on the top sellers, as coming soon, or even showing a release date for me...

you're not alone, Skyrim is off the top sellers and coming soon lists for me as well.  It's also no longer showing the count down timer on the store page.

Maybe that means they are going to unencrypt it for everybody now.  It did just download a 16.4MB file about 20 minutes ago.

I'll have to restart steam and see if anything happens.

The download I think was the first patch, I read it was about 16 mb.

Quote: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has infinite quests, says Howard

So, if Skyrim has infinite quests, wouldn't that mean that it has infinite replayability too?  I mean infinite quests would seem to indicate that no matter how many times that you played it, you'd have new quests giving you something to do.

Has anybody heard how elaborate these quests can be, or are they pretty basic step and fetch type of quests? Fedex Quests?

And actually, I guess replayability would not be the right thing, since you'd not need to 'replay' the game unless you wanted to change your characters stats, instead you could just continue playing Skyrim for infinity if these infinite quests would keep you interested in doing so.

Woo more links... if you want to watch a live stream:

http://www.gamespot.com/shows/now-playing/?event=now_playing_skyrim20111110&tag=topslot;img;1

The guy said he is only doing side quests to try not and spoil anything if anyone is interested, watched a few minutes, but I would rather experience it all my self.
