Hey all, I heard on Rock Paper Shotgun today that there's been an announcement that Anno 2070 is in the works (hcgb: www. rockpapershotgun. com/2011/09/16/prosperity-cool-sci-fi-tech-anno-2070/).     Looking forward to it!  For some reason the YouTube video is "not viewable in my country".     :(

Yes, it was announced in April:,2451.msg26322.html

Here's the fixed link (you can't post links until you have a certain number of posts (25 I think) to prevent spam):

You could see if the trailers work from the official site.

The game's coming out on Nov 17, 2011 and they just released a demo which to be honest is awesome, for me Anno series are the best city building games out there and I've been playing them for years so naturally I can't wait for this one :)

You get 2 missions in the demo, about an hour worth of play I'd say, and you get to play Tycoon faction which is the "darker" industrial faction.   In the full release you'll get to also play the eco-maniacs :P which should help if you want your cities look nicer with greenery as opposed to all the smog

here's the link to the demo:  www.   fileserve.   com/file/RCXKtck  (just get rid of spaces in the url since I can't post them)

you can also get it from the official site somewhere, but their servers suck so FS should be faster
