Which file hosting/sharing service do you gamers use?
I'm speaking as a casual gamer who might have 4 or 5 files to share in a whole year, so I'm looking for a free reputable service, one where the sharer is anonymous (except maybe for nickname) and where anyone downloading can see that file only and no others that the sharer may also have uploaded.

Thanks

I just bought a new video card and Duke Nukem came with it free. If you are interested, PM me and I will send the code. I won't use it and I hate to see it go to waste.

Code may be used once. Offer available, through Steam, through October 1, 2013.

Hello,

I am Grijze Pilion and over the past 2 years i've been designing a new city-building game, Cities of History.  Cities of History is a combination between a citybuilder and a Real-time Strategy game (or, as i like to call it, a Territorial Evolution Simulator) in which you get to colonize and evolve the vast nation of Locany, over the course of 3000 years.  As Cities of History has only recently finished design and is only in early production there aren't...

A very unique looking game: http://store.steampowered.com/app/238890/

Quote
How do you balance -- and indeed encourage -- a war between factions without letting either side obliterate the other? How do you rule over gods, creatures, and men who refuse to obey you? How do you build a landscape of villages when bandits and mythology are conspiring to tear it down? Skyward Collapse places you into the role of The Creator, and frees you to tackle these problems your own way....

Anyone know of any iPad or Android city builder games? Where you can build proper cities, etc?

I know of Virtual City (G5 Entertainment) and City Sandbox (Cardboard Lemon).  Anything else?

Game: Timber And Stone

About Timber and Stone
Timber and Stone is a project I started in March of 2012.  I wanted to play a city building game with the feel of a real time strategy game, but with more depth; more resources, more control, and most importantly: more complexity.  All set in a medieval world with some fantasy elements thrown in.

Hey Guys,

Just thought I'd let you in on a small(ish) story from what happened to me the day before yesterday with my laptop.

So, I noticed that I only had about 45 GB of free space on my SSD drive which is only 185 GB to begin with.  But I figured that 45 GB is fine, it's still over the 15% that people have always suggested leaving free for Windows.  But I've also noticed that my laptop has been getting REALLY slow the past few days.

Stephen Russell has been dumped as the voice over for Garrett  Crying in Thief 4. Garrett is not the same without Stephen's voice and from what I have heard from a recent trailer the new voice is not horrible, but something is missing.... Stephen's Russell voice is sultry, rememberable and just fits so well with the stealthy Garrett character.
The  explanation for the replacement is here  -

I have a system of crafting based on grabbing members of the educated classes to fulfill specialized roles. And I need to decide how specialized I can get.
My current specific question is this, should I stick to fields of expertise ala Alchemy/Cooking/Smithing or can I create a more granular system? Something like specializing in ingredient preparation or making specific products like healing potions.

So you might have a character born or trained to be good at just a health...

Hi,

I ended up buying Arma 3 and with it Steam gave me 3 arma 3 alpha "lite" keys to give away to friends.

I believe that the lite version prohibits multiplayer but if any of the "regulars" on here want to try it out maybe this is a good way to do so.

So if you are a regular on this forum and would like the steam key or gift (however it's done) either hit me up in this topic or PM me and if I still have one I'll give it to you.

Welcome to the world of Banished! In this city-building strategy game, you control a group of exiled travelers who decide to restart their lives in a new land. They have only the clothes on their backs and a cart filled with supplies from their homeland.

The objective of the game is to keep the population alive and grow it into a successful culture. Options for feeding the people include hunting and gathering,...

Education Question

I asked this on the EA forums and got mixed responses.

Other than the 'bonuses' that you might get from having a specific education building is there a need to keep a grammar school when you place a high school, and is there a need to keep a grammar school and high school when you place the community college & is there a need to keep the afore mentioned three types of educational buildings once you place the university?

Anyone know how to tell where the passengers for regional rail are going, commuters or tourists?

The population is 20,000 or so and nothing for a tourist, so I am assuming they are commuters.

The manual states:
"Trains

Build a train system to allow Sims to come into your city, drawing more Sims from farther away to populate your metropolis."
So I assume this figure (screen shot) is...

Hi,

I keep getting this message told to me when I click on the education tool, it says something to the effect that Industry can't find enough skilled workers.

The strange thing is that I have 2 grammar schools both upgraded to 950 students, a high school upgraded, a community college with an extra dorm, and the university.  As well as several (well a couple anyway) libraries spread around town.

I'm starting to think that this error message has...

Feel free to post any of your own screen shots or videos of your own cities in this topic.

I am off now to go grab some screen shots and maybe a video, as I didn't realize that the game has it's own screen capture ability until late last night, so I'm off to grab some screens.  Probably nothing spectacular as I'm not a very good builder although as most know it's still my favorite genre.

Please post your own stuff too, I love to see what...

Hi guys and gals,

I'm curious what you use when you build your cities, do you use a combination of all of the road pieces or do you stick to certain ones and ignore some others, or what.

Personally, I've tried different methods, for example doing an "avenue of the stars" city (for those that have visited Los Angeles or live there, you might get that), but that just looks too odd when I have avenues and absolutely no streets, even if it were to work out...
