Woohoo!  Went for cataract surgery in my right eye yesterday morning and they took the patch and guard off my eye this morning.  I can see again!

Prior to the surgery everything had a smokey film over it and if I looked at any websites that had black text on a white background to me it just looked like black smudges running across the page, got to be so bad that I had to change my computer to use inverted colors (white text on black background), when driving I couldn't...

Hi,

My brother emailed me these so I thought I'd share.  Some of them gave me a little chuckle like the one about the voices and guns.

Enjoy

Thought I would let people know, if not already aware of it, that Age of Mythology has been remade and put on steam. It will be released on the 8th of May. This is one of my all time favorite games so I am quite excited about it. Buying it early grants a 20% discount and buying a 4 pack you get effectively a 40% discount off each individual game. As such if anyone cares to go in on a 4 pack with me that would be great. I imagine Bruschev will want to also if he hasn't already bought the...

Well, took the jump, purchased DI edition...early access has been smooth server wise, some quest bugs and of course, because I'm on the North American Server, way to many idiots camping spawn zones, breaking quests, etc...but all in all a pretty rock solid debut for it...kind of like it so far, but time will tell!

If anyone's playing...I'm on North American Server...playing, as usual, a female toon...sorry can't help it! Smiley Blink  Emma Leah D'Vaeh...if you...

Currently what I would like some feedback on is assigning laborers to more specific tasks, in this case, peasants/laborers/builders.

In the original Majesty peasants spawned from the castle and were generic builders, constructing each building. I had many issues with this:

1)Priorities: Peasants seems to build stuff based on the oldest available build commands. Sometimes I am more concerned about some buildings than others.

2)Range: Range was infinite....

Hey guys,

I know it isn't city building, but anyone picking up Diablo III in anticipation of the Reaper of Souls expansion?  I just picked it up for the first time since its release and I must say I'm deeply impressed with the changes patches have done since then.  It feels like a greatly different game from what I played a year and a half ago, and really for the better!

Hi Gang,

Just got notified by EA forums that Update 10 is now available for Simcity 2013.

If you didn't know, update 10 takes Simcity "offline" and allows you to play it single player without needing to be online, and it includes a "save as" function to allow us to make multiple copies of our regions (like most games allow) so now we'll be able to experiment with the region and if it doesn't work out we'll be able to load the copy of...

Here is a little snippit from the devlog.

I have also setup an IRC server which is accessable from crowebird.com port 6667

Also my RTMP stream has been working and can be accessed from crowebird.com/rtmp (Where IRC is also embedded).

The IRC and RTMP are more setup if I am streaming anything and anyone is interested, I'll probably also do...

Hi gang,

I'm hoping that somebody here is knowledgble about OpenGL.

I have my Asus G46 laptop that has the Nvidia optima system where there is an Nvidia 660m as well as the Intel HD 4000 chips for the graphics inside.

All my games are set to run using the Nvidia 660m since it obviously is a better graphics GPU and provides better performance than the Intel HD 4000 ever could.

However a few of my games use OpenGL instead of DirectX and that's...

Looks like another procedural generating games. Curious if it's entirely multiplayer what.

How many would actually buy the new simcity and why? I have heard nothing complaints still on simcity and that EA is still not committed to giving back to the consumers on simcity. Some of the complaints are like bigger maps needed, an offline mode is needed. Cities are not growing like they should be like too much traffic in one area. They said that the game is headed in the right direction but that the game still lacks punch and still needs lots of improvements. I haven't brought the...

Hey Gang, while some of the gamers have speculated that SC13 is a dead goose I read the latest newsletter (well, I scanned it anyway) and get the impressions that their gaming public is so low that they are trying to entice people back into the game by letting them know all the stuff they've been doing over the past "8  major" updates to SC13.

Anyway that's my slant on the situation, [spoiler=My current life situation if you're interested in reading it]I...

Someone has modded MP into it, and it would be fun to try out.... it might be a buggy mess (considering it is pre-alpha right now), but why not?!

Seems like a pretty neat base creator, just don't think I want to drop $20 on an early release title again.  Game play looks great, but not sure how long that will keep me entertained.

And you can claim yourself a free copy of their 2005 release of supreme ruler 2010
