I was born on the 4th of January 1954.

That means it is my Birthday Today.  (Yes I know my Marketing Skills have improved  Laughing).

No presents worth over $1,000,000,000,000 please  Big Smiley Grin Laughing

I have only one Dollar.

Max I was wrong about the year this $ was made. It says "Series 1935 D" on the one dollar bill....

..it's still the 3rd here..but it's where you are that counts... Smiley Blink

As for that dollar..if there's a blue seal..(I can't recall all the specific years)..or red it denotes a Silver Certificate..they are always worth more than their face value.  I inherited my Dad "collection".. both coin and paper currency.  I've added a few items but not really a savvy numismatists...and had other things I wanted to collect that I understood and enjoyed more.

One thing about that year.. 1935...a 1935 U.S. dollar bill with Hawaii on it...could be worth around $20.00 and in uncirculated condition (new) around $90.00...probably is tops.   wink  Now that might cause people to be more careful with their dollar bills...eh?

 Laughing ..8 THOUSAND!! ++..whaaa!! no way the Fire Dept would allow that many candles for One B'Day cake..and having volumes of knowledge can't be a bad thing.

As the $1 bill.. that's great..Silver Cert..were taken out of circulation..so it is collectible no matter what..it'll always be worth "something".. no crystal ball can predict "how much".  So hang on to it.. it is on good hands with you, no matter What Ralphie says..   Smiley Blink
