My Father played both the Guitar and Bass.
He was a Piano Tuner (academic education for that here in Sweden).

He repaired Church Organs. He repaired Hammond Organs.

And he wrote the Notes --- The whole arrangement for a seven man Orchestra.

Well I only seems to have inherit the technical skills --- Not the Musical ones  Looking around cautiously

So that "Joke" about Accordion is just a Musicans Humor. Most of the Musicans have a very hard Humor. I've heard them so I know  Big Smiley Grin Laughing
That about the Accordion is one of the milder ones, that I dare to translate for a public Forum  Laughing

yeah, I know.... I'm just foolin' wif ya. I used to play drums, so I've heard all the drummer jokes. I hate 'em! Hate, hate, hate! Disagreeing Madly

The accordian is a great instrument though. If I remember right, even The Rolling Stones have a track with an accordian in it! Yup! I just checked. It's called "Sweethearts Together". It's a very pretty track, but it's edgey too.

Did ya know that the Bagpipe was once outlawed? I think it was in the 16th century. It was called an instrument of war and therefor considered dangerous. I don't remember the details, but you can find it if you Google 'bagpipes'.

Laughing  So UC...is it the plain ol'Bagpipes or the bagpipes with "kilted" operators that are dangerous.  Everytime I hear Amazing Grace played on them..it definitely stirs the inner consciousness.   wink

I play a couple if instruments, played in a band just out of teen years.  I agree some of the jokes were quite colorful..or best left within the musical community.   Big Smiley Grin Laughing
