Oh my UC...what a great singing voice you have.  I tried to translate..but as usual things get mixed around.. kind of comical in a way.  Laughing

Truly appreciate your taking the time to share some of your "native" text with us.  I've always being amazed ..considering what our International friends go through to share their thoughts on an English forum. 

TWO days for Christmas... don't spread the word.. or we'll have yet another day added to ours too.. Now that I'm retired, every day is a like a Holiday or so I keep telling myself.  Holiday Presents

hmmm... good question. Where did it originate? I'm fairly sure that it was somewhere in Scandinavia. I dunno if it's possible to determine the exact location, but they've spread all around the world now. Polkas are even found in South America! It's good stuff, despite the ribbing it gets from some people. Accordians, concertinas, and derivitaves are found all over too. I like accordians! They're sexy!

Listen you! I can make a CD full of tracks from all around the world -- France, South America, Spain, Greece, the Middle East, The USA, and Scandinavia -- and all the tracks have accordian in 'em! These wrock! Accordians are used by the biggest stars in the world -- Shakira, Khaled, Amr Diab, Stacey Kent, Belinda Carlisle, Brad Paisely, and many, many others. This is one case where Father Doesn't Know Best!

In fact, I think I'll do this. I'll show you!
