Having grabbed each trophy, it was time to see if the 'fabled' spooky/haunted theme was really there...and YES!!! It is really too cool!

Here's Kingtowne (yes, Stephen King if you will!).

The first, planning out the city of the dead..hopefully!!!

The second, after placing a couple creepy barns, a few shacks, a graveyard and a haunted house or two...some of my farmhouses adorned themselves w/ neon cobwebs...is this the extent of it?  Either way, a nifty touch!

The third, the spooky buildings begin throwing off a blue mist that is much more pervasive than normal instances!

The fourth, my police station has a spooky theme now...

The fifth, WE HAVE OUR SPOOKY/HAUNTED STREET UPGRADE!  This is the three way stop street centerpiece...

pat!

Three more from the early stages!

The key will be can I actually develop a larger town and still maintain this theme?  The only real spooky buildings that I know of are the four haunted houses, the Castle Ruin, the Shack, the Spooky Barn and the Graveyard.  I suppose is 70 percent or so of my homes are the haunted houses, I should be able to maintain it.  I curious to see what the general look of the businesses/venues will be!

pat!

These three shots highlight the four way intersection road centerpiece as well as the gothic themed light poles, house lighting, street lights, etc.!  Some very intricate touches here!

It's a lot of fun UC!  But it's almost always dark! Big Smiley Grin Laughing

Here are a few more!

The first, a bistro in hell!

The second, on the west side of the river, our castle ruin sits along the riverbanks as a centerpiece of a public park.

The third, no mist will keep our sims from visiting their venues or using the busses!

The fourth, another shot featuring our west end residential area!

The fifth, looking between two houses to a street  behind, the prayer wheels are placed strategically throughout town to give any fifghtened sim a place of respite!

pat!

It's really nice to look at with the low hanging fog in the haunted cities.

Note the appearance of pumpkins from doorsteps to vinyards to the farmer's market, etc.!

Yet I can't for the life of me find out where they're being grown!!!
