If you registered for membership on this site but have not yet received the confirmation activation email, there are 3 main reasons.

1. It ended up in your junk or spam folder, please look there to see if it's in there.

2. You did not enter your correct email address.  Please register with a new username and the correct email address and try again.

3. Your IP address and or your Email Address is listed in the Stop Forum Spam (spam protection) database as a known spammer and when either your IP address and or your email address appears in that database, your account can not be approved.  As such if you are a spammer, please move along, our community is too small for you to bother with.  If you are NOT a spammer, contact the owners of Stop Forum Spam and get your information removed from their database and register a new account.

If you're using the above link I posted, use a RT CLICK save as function to save the .exe to your desktop!

I'm having problems downloading the update.  When I try the above link - large downloads........ I get the page cannot be found page.  If I go the the EA exchange, I can't get to the acutal download.

Ok, Ok.... I wasn't thinking.  I had to actually open the end user page all the way, there at the bottom is the accept or not button.  Update successfully installed.  DUH!!!!

i just updated so I will see how the gameplay is later. It's nice that they have made an patch to address some of the player concerns. I am going to delete all saves and autosaves and see what happens.

did the update mess up for anyone else?  I did it and it told me it may not have installed correctly so uninstall sim city and reinstall everything, the game still runs, but not updated... and I have the game disk at my dorm, and im home for break :(
so I wont be able to try it out for a few weeks.
Oh well, I have a feeling i will be playing Crysis / Bioshock tomorrow and watching House m.d. so I will be plenty busy :D

Well, it did mess up for me.  I applied the udpate 2 and then got a cryptic long error message when trying to start the game, so I read the TM forums and someone else had the exact same error message and he just used update 2 and ran it again and could play.  The same solution was for me.  I re-ran update 2 and then the game was playable again.  There were no mods or anything like that in my game so Im not sure why the both of us happened to get that exact same error and the same solution fixed it.

i have tried and tried reupdaing but no avail, undervista with admin/without it, and now the game wont even uninstall... so im just lost.
