Laughing ...good post CB.. hehe "GOTO" ... nothing like having the Basic(s) down   wink

Longtime gamers know better than say "never"... even though the outcome may go either way.  I prefer the pleasant surprises.. over the deep dark pit of a game doomed to be soon forgotten.. lost to lack of appeal.. or the effort it takes to play it for entertainment.

I have to have a margin of micromanagement involved or I just feel like I'm playing a "Solitaire" level of game..  I've enjoyed seeing what I can build in SC:S ...it is very pretty .. maybe all that adds to my yearning for more.  Maybe more infrastructure challenges to getting "pollution" free power etc..things like that should need R/D ..an active scientific  community or example.   I suppose TM will create more Trophies most likely.. a pretty easy way to score an abstract measure of success.

I think this first "delivery" from the Devs will be something that'll give us a hint on where this game is headed... to the point where they won't fiddle with it anymore.

Ah HAH!! Sandra!!  I should of figured you might be our first "bug" squisher... hehe

CB has a knack for these creative lil subtle post entries... you just have to be ready for them  wink

UPDATE ON THE UPDATE!

Well, sounds like TM has listened to all of those looking for a more micromanagerial challenge!

If it pans out, it's a biggie!  What I'm curious about is what these new UI for the four themes he mentioned are...a generally different look for the UI?  That's kind of interesting!

But, as I responded to David, I hope they don't let the artistic side of the game stay static...if they can improve/add to ALL aspects of the game and get those micromangerial fiends (you all know who you are!  Well, me, too of course!!!) molified, then this game could have some real life to it!

later,
pat!

Thanks, yeah I saw that...  I think the overlays will help, though there is a comment down below the preview from Will.Jennings that says that the overlay is already in the game, woops, I guess I've never activated it.  Will have to look for it and see what type of benefit the buildings can produce for the surrounding areas, now if they could just put a real area of effect on stuff that ends up in my junk pile because it doesn't look right in the city area, then I'd be forced to find an alternative.  What can I say, Im weak and need my junk (in the corner of the map that is!)

Laughing Mm?  considering how the Holiday's can affect "productivity".. it might be more feasible to think..sometime after the first of the year.   One big ol' holiday office party can make this time of the year very merry ...well we certainly don't want an update that registers over the legal limit.. do we?   Looking around cautiously
