I went out this morning and was Really Really looking at the way the roads/shops/businesses were placed. Also decoration (plants, hedges, sidewalks etc).

I would like to see:

# Bushes and flowers
# Fruit/flowering trees (smaller)
# Ponds/lake areas
# One lane roads - one way roads - could be used as side roads, City roads divided by tree/bushes/grassy areas or an alley behind buildings.
# More types of "suburban" type homes.
# More tourest type buildings - campgrounds, small hotels/inns (have the tourests make a DIFFERENCE in the city for good or bad).
# Combo buildings - home over shop, farm house with the farm, condo building with shops and businesses in the same building etc.

And most of all - MATCHING STUFF - sidewalks that Match the roadways/foundations/porches, southwest buildings that Match the Adobe homes (example).

# Power plant "radius" so that if you put oil/gas/coal in one corner and Wind/Solar in another the surrounding area would reflect which you are using.

Oh Dear - that is a lot of wishes - so I will stop now before someone thinks I am complaining  Laughing

I've answered this question in other threads and in other forums as well, and my biggest wish is the mixing and matching of themes.   I'm not too particularly fond of having just 1 overall theme controlling how my city appears.   Need more themed districts or neighborhoods.   For example, across the bay is my highly properous capitalist downtown, with high rent condos and nice rural neighborhoods.   But on the other side of the bay is the high industrial and low rent district, with slums and tenements and industries.   Whechever side of the bay is the most influential affects the whole city, whereas I'd like the downtown to remain pristine, clean, and nice looking and the slum area to look slumlike and downtrodden.
