So if wishes were to come true what would you wish for in simcity societies?

I think the number one thing I'd like to see would be more props to place around the house's.  Things that could go in the backyard or front yard to just flesh out and make the houses individual.  Of course being able to create new buildings with a free program such as gmax would also be high on my list.

What about you?

Different Roads! (and does the game have tunnels, have not tried it, but if it does not, then the game needs tunnels!)
and more travel options: Trains and Planes are needed! maybe a port too!! I miss these!

and

The ability to edit the game map during the game!

I hate not being able to take a road up a hill becuae the hill is too steep!

No sadly, the graphics engine IMO isn't that advanced UC.  It would be nice if the trees would sway in the breeze too like many other 3D games but that doesn't seem possible in Caesar IV or in SimCity: Societies.

Of course if TM releases some information then perhaps people will be able to create new better looking trees, but until then...

Yeah, like crowebird, I'd like to see terrain editing tools inside of the game as well, for me sometimes it's just nice to be able to actually flatten the terrain so that a building sits at ground level instead of up on those concrete blocks that the game does now which always has me scratching my head and wondering if the people can actually get into that building to use it, and if so, how..

More choices of hedges/gardens/plants/fountains/parks and perhaps some folk walking their dogs along the streets seeing we have an animal shelter.

More businesses and venues with a positive "creativity".

Dogs and cats, since there is a pet shop.

Definately diagonals, and a paved road that is only 2 lanes.

Flowers to plant in the yards.

Agreed Happy Oh my.. I have played soooo many games.. sometimes I miss the "ambient" animals found in games like Ascaron used, or even RP/SP... darting rabbits... crickets n butterflies...soaring Eagles etc.

If the MOD's as CB alludes to are found capable of digging deep...maybe the presently overall "sterileness" will blossom with wind in the trees... an oceans roar and the babbling brooks..bring life and realism for sure.  But whatever the level of capacity will determine these wishes..luckily it shouldn't be too long in finding out.

I'm playing as much as I can...and just wonder what the actual hours of play that has been dedicated to this title so far... Because limits are discovered with such and onslaught of playtime..and learning each nook and cranny.. facet the game offers.  This has always been my driving force.. and my menial playing time sure is frustrating.

...mmm? maybe I'll squeeze in another easy hour of play tonight.. I remembered to take my vitamins   Big Smiley Grin Laughing

I'd like to see all the above, and as far as the interface goes, better granularity or filtering in the building selection.   For example a category for education, city services, healthcare.

Also, when you have a building selected, that you've just dropped on the map, and you want the next variety of that building (typically homes), I'd like a hotkey to scroll forward to the next variety, or back to the previous.   Or at the very least, when I re-open the buildings window, position the selection cursor on the currently selected building.  Then the alternate variety of that building is right there, instead of hunting for it again.

Even though I'm not a big SimCity 4 fan, I did like the evolution of the city.   I'd like to see more changes as the city grows older, either more properous, or downtrodden.   The themes do this, but I'd like to see it "kicked up notch", as well as mixing more themes.   When I have a heavy mix of creative and authoritarian, show more changes specific to the local area where these themes are the heaviest.   Similiar to the cultures of Big City, just not as demanding.

I *read* that TM are working on better organization of the building window, through possible categorization like Wizaerd mentioned.  But I was told to keep it to myself.  Soapbox Speech with tape across mouth

Woops, there I go again.  Looking around cautiously
