Well I played the game and was really not impressed.
I tried some mods and the game constantly crashed to the desktop.
I could not figure out how to get rid of the mods and uniinstalled the game to try a fresh start.
The uninstall process took almost 2 hours.
That was enough for me.
Back to SimCity 4 which is an excellent game.

Smiley Blink  Hey Silverbullet .. Thanks for letting us know ..I think there is a Love - Hate player disparity concerning SC:S ..I played it for more hours than I really should have.. it isn't a game that I didn't enjoy the nuances of the ingame mechanics.. and I couldn't get into Modding parts I thought should be different.  So I've packed it up too.

On the otherhand we have players who adore the game.. and that's great.  There's games that I'm passionate about too..and just recently learned that our forum Admin had tossed that particular game into the trash... <sigh>  so this is the way gaming works.

I'm glad to know you have games that give that much needed enjoyment of time spent.  SimCity(s) were good for that aspect.  I like the Anno series...and all the 2D City Builders of the last decade.

Hopefully newer game releases will offer fresh adventures and more quality playingtime for each of our needs.  Please keep us informed of your playing experiences..we do play everything on these forums.   Big Smiley Grin Laughing
