RhiannOn!  Those are GREAT!  I love the way you have the houses back from the road like that...I always seem to plant my buildings mostly right on the roads but yours looks PERFECT!

Nice job! Thumbs Up

Thanks Pat

I installed a mod it is called "ThatGuy_Landscape_Pack.SCSPack".  I d/l it from Simtropolis.  You will need to log in to get the file, but here is the link to the file  if you do join the site
www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=18979

Just copy the file inside the Winrar into this directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SimCity Societies\Import

when you start up the game it will "unzip" this file and put all the files into the right folders and you will find the tiles ingame where you get the palmtrees/evergreen etc.

Application Data is a hidden folder normally so to  make it viewable  "Tools/folder options/View"  and tick the box....(you probably know how to do this already  Laughing )

I found these talented folk in my town this afternoon  Agreed Happy a mime and a street performer

 Peppermint canes....yummmmmmmm   Happy Dance

If you need to remove any of the mods I  did it thru the search feature on the pc and just browsed  to the simcity socieites folder via the documents and settings as there are a number of files that are placed into different folders there.
I haven't found any "fan" mods installed in the main  SimCity: Societies directory yet.

KFC and Gamestop buildings look great but they didn't show up correctly for me ingame  Crying.  Have you tried them at all?

I just used the roads mod that CB posted (not the Simtropolis one) and I've lost my grass-tile Crying Crying
Never mind maybe someone will make some more grass tiles that I can d/load Big Smiley Grin Laughing
I don't want to remove the road mod as I like the different kinds of roads I have now. Agreed Happy

I've lost my grass-tile Crying Crying

Hi Sandra.
Are you working on a new map that is it sort of a desert environment because lastnight my partner was having a play with the game and his town was being created on a desert/dryish like land.  Now he went to place some grass down, but there were two tiles missing, the olive grass and one just called grass.  I too thought they were missing.
I was a little concerned as I had just installed a lava road mod (which seem to be in hiding) but  I had used the grass tiles earlier in the afternoon.

So I started up my saved game which has rain and reasonable tree coverage and the missing grass tiles were available.  Next I started a new desert game and those same grass tiles were not available again. So I'm wondering if it is all down to climate etc that some tiles are available and others are not.
Is a shame if the grass tiles have gone walkabout on you tho because of the installed mod.
