Okay, new city time!  Dimler's Bay a succes....so I've shifted my attention to the great southwest...working on a contemplative city as much as possible, hoping for that 'little city in the desert' feel with more rural/dirt road type stuff on the outside of town...I'm curious as to what, if any, evolution i'll get!

Dry Trail Junction...

The first one is my starting point...

Second, a few days in...

The third, looking down a dirt street sided by peublo's...

The fourth, where the more developed city leads to a dirt road sided by farm houses

The first, from the outside of a small desert town looking in..

The second, city center is beginning to take shape! (Once I get some more simoleans, i gotsta replace that city park at an angle!)

Three more from Dry Trail Junction...

First, a view from the hills into town, there's a dairy farm in the foreground there...the Homestead's are so very spartan and bare!

Second, Looking down First Avenue towards city center, where it intersects with Main Street!

Third, sunrise coming over the Eastern hills...lighting the farms on the outskirts of the settlement!

Finally, first evolution...and then I plant one building and BAM, quickly evolved to an even different set!

I was playing along and my son says "dad...you're streets!!!"  It was sublte, but look at the streets, sidewalks and this glorious little banner hanging over the Main Street leading into town...

These two screenies from the first evolution set...I didn't have much time to look around town to see more...

And then, as I continue my growth as a spiritual (cult like???) center in the high desert, it seems my little burg has settled into this....

This is frankly amazing...Note the changes in street lights, and how the houses now have new outside lighting, but most impressively TWO things....the new obelisk/monuments at every cross roads and how now the DIRT ROADS have wonderful oil lamps/torches to light the way, making them look like peaceful paths!

Dry Trail Junction reaches its spiritual zenith!

The first three...

The same street heading out of town, one from a bit above, one from street level and then street level at night highlighting the oil lamps lining the dirt roads!

The fourth, looking into town from the mountains overlooking the cemetary!!  And yes, a crickety barn for the cemetary keeper!

And the last!!!

The first, a public park in the northwest corner of town, near the pueblo's!

The second, City Center after earning the Guru Award!  Note the three award statues that I've earned to date...

The third, City Center at night, 11 p.m.!

The fourth, working class neighborhood, near the farms in the background!

The fifth, A final shot from the Western Mountains, looking towards the mega-church in the distance with the always present Windmill!!!

pat!
