If you registered for membership on this site but have not yet received the confirmation activation email, there are 3 main reasons.

1. It ended up in your junk or spam folder, please look there to see if it's in there.

2. You did not enter your correct email address.  Please register with a new username and the correct email address and try again.

This is an easy one.

Download the attached file and save it to the \SimCity Societies\Data\XMLDb folder

MAKE SURE TO MAKE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL FILE FIRST!  You can do so by right clicking on the original file, choose copy, then in the same folder right click away from anything in the folder and choose paste and you will paste a copy of the original file for safe keeping.  Or simply rename the original file to something else.

This mod effectively doubles your zoom level in all of the different camera options.

Alternatively to downloading the file, you can alter the file yourself...

Go to your: [INSTALL DRIVE AND FOLDER]\SimCity Societies\Data\XMLDb   folder and open up the CameraSettings.xml file.  Now simply double all the maximum zoom numbers that you see in there, so 60 should become 120 (or whatever you like really), now save the file, fire up the game and you have double the zoom level.

Oh some of the installed files in the installation folders are "read" protected so you'll need to right click on them, choose properties then uncheck the read only checkmark so that you can save the files again with the original names.

Just remember to make backups of the original files so that you don't have to reinstall the whole game to get the originals back.  What I've done is to make a complete duplicate of the installation folders on a seperate hard drive, in this way I've ALWAYS got the original files to put back into place if something bad should happen.
