Taz, nice shots!!!

The alteration in streets and general appearance is a heretofore unknown combination of societal energy and flow...basically, once your town slips far enough towards one of the societal energies, the change will occur!  Once you notice the streets change, take the time to look around at all the other changes, they're subtle but countless!

Thanks for the tip, Pat!.

I will concentrate on building toward one of the societal values now.

 Thumbs Up Nice screens Taz

Yup.. pat!! is right.. when you first notice the change.. then look for all the other little things too..  Maybe pat!! can confirm.. but staying with a topical "theme" seems to save a little waiting time..though I find it easy to create diversity in some settings.  One of the reasons I called my list of towns as "flavors"..  but I'm slow too..so not as big a deal waiting on the effects to kick in for me...  Laughing

That's strange, I read on the TM forums that there is no congestion on subways or busses, hence I would *think* that they wouldn't have a capacity.

Lately the only peeps I've seen walking across the big field are 2 street preachers and a hippie. (They didn't have the subway fare  Questioning  Laughing)
So TM could be right but my population has not gone up much since adding the last subway because I'm trying real hard to get my creative stuff up to see a change, but there isn't much creative stuff left.
I think I'll go back to the drawing board and build a small town with dirt roads. If/when they change it will be obvious.  Agreed Happy
What IYO is the best societal value to use to see a change PDQ  Questioning

I think they all take the same amount of effort and there isn't any that happen PDQ.  It's just a matter of completely sticking to one building set in your city no matter how boring or repetitive it might look.  It's just what it takes to do it IMO.
