Okay, here are my first screenies...

City Type: Mostly normal but a blend as I'm using the ALL filter alot
Graphics: 1900x1220 reso, 90% of graphics maxed
Lag?: So far population is still under 2,000, only lag so far when it rained

These are just various shots...good lord notice the detail on the buildings, the quality of the lighting and how well the distant landscape blends and meshes into the city itself...(my 'apron' settings are set to low as well!).  This is a HUGE step up in graphics from Caesar IV it seems.

pat!

That's been driving me nuts, most of my buildings get those padlocks and I couldn't figure out what it was (the page with all the icons in the manual is too small for me to see *I guess it's time for glasses*).  These closures of my buildings however lead people to be upset because they don't have any nightime venues but I didn't find any in the list, they were all listing the sunshine icon indicating I guess that they are daytime business's.

Nice shots Pat!

Heres a screenies of a small town that after taking this screenie, I changed it to start heading more for a moderate sized town.  I think it unfortunate that either Im too dense to notice it or the game doesn't evolve things anymore, so whe I place an apartment building it always stays that apartment buillding, it doesn't seem to get run down or improve.  It feels when I build a city, they stay very static so far.

Some more!

The night screenies are glorious....

CB..I think that the buildings will 'alter' their appearances a bit, but it has to be a 'while' in and its a slow subtle change.

Now, I 'think' that happens and I have seen I believe a condo alter itself a touch...

I could have been imagining that, but I think it went from normal, to capitalist  because it was in my city center and everyone was RICH!!!

maybe!

BTW, the shot with the fireworks is after I got the City Sherrif medal for town development!  A neat, unique statue to place!!!

On this set, notice the detail of a couple of the small-town/rural shops and how the porch on the farmhouse is lit at night!  It's amazing stuff, really, I've found myself so wrapped up in looking at the detail that I haven't noticed if the buildings are 'evolving/changing' at all!

CB, I'll keep my eyes open!
