Well  here it is from scratch my very onw waterfall.  Took me a little bit of time to get it made ..but I got there.

I just have to fix the sides at the top eitherside of the fall ..as they look like bat wings  Big Smiley Grin Laughing.

I'm "sort of" getting the hang of these terrain tools.

Very nice!

Be aware that you should allow plenty of room for the bottom body of water if you're going to place an attraction in it.  You can't place a dolphin show, for example, very near falls. Allow yourself plenty of margin..... lots of it!

Looks good! You oughtta go into the landscaping business!  Thumbs Up

 Hello and Welcome Thanks.

With the quiet "feeling" of the lake and the zebras on the other side of the path, I popped in the bumper boats as they are not noisy and in keeping I put the splashmine  ride  on  another side.

The food court area is a first attempt.  As you can see very simple, but I have done it by putting down one path tile in seperate places.  The tiles cannot be joined to start with.  The I add the chairs and tables.  When finished then I make the paths join up and with the food places surrounding the court the peeps will come and sit down.  Now that is great to see them do that cos it means you have set it up okay.  (These tips I got from the Atari forum).  I also down loaded the cafe setting, but I can't seem to find a table yet that is more "outdoors" looking.  Nevermind this will do for starters.   Thumbs Up

Where are the tables? I have never seen these. Are they in scenery/paths? Or where? Or are these custom thingies?

Anyways, it looks good. Now how do I do that?

I used the tables and some chairs from Vodhins cafe kit Buffett Bar  & xtras sets
Link:  http://www.vodhin.net/RCT3Community/download.php
The tables and chairs are found in game menu Scenery/Scenery Items and named accordingly.

This  is the recommend way to extract sets with the .ovl extension file types:

Do NOT extract directly into the game.
I extracted the sets into a folder I made on my desktop.
When extracted move all it's contents with the folders the extraction made, into the RCT3 directory:  X:/ RCT3 Platinum/Style/Themed.
Important: These  .ovl extention files must be  kept in their own folders they extracted to.

http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=509186&highlight=Custom+Scenery

I found that not all custom content go into the style/themed folder

The custom coasters (extn .trk) I found go into My Documents/RCT3/Coasters
Now as for the dat files...I'm still trying to work out where some go. Some I found go into  My Documents/RCT3/Structures.

Also, some custom content will not run in game and there's a game error..I have had this couple of times.  But I just deleted the file and wohoo back to normal. Agreed Happy

Anyways if I am wrong anywhere please let me know as I would hate to put you crook.

Thanks, but right now I'm too tired to even understand all this. I'll get to it tomorrow.

Are there any better animal viewing galleries there? The ones in the game don't look right to me.

I feel terrible. I'm really sick. I'm strung out on addicting medicines and don't konw what to do. I can't make a judgement call on what to do, 'cause I'm all anxious. I don't want to give the doctor any more control over me, by limiting my meds, and I don't know what he can do or what I SHOULD do. I'm just not thinking here! I can't make a decision! ANd all this game stuff is confusing too!

I'll figger all this stuff out later. The game stuff I mean. I can't thnik right now.

The thing with RCT3 for me is that it's always difficult for me to get started when Im looking at a blank canvas.  Once Im on a roll though, it gets a whole lot simpler and I can bust out some nice looking parks.  It's that getting started part that throws me.

I tried to play last night but didn't get very far, I guess I wasn't feeling very inspired to try really.  Maybe this weekend will be different though Im now trying my hand at Oblivion RPG game though Im oblivious to Oblivion.

Zoo empire has small parks mostly, their is a variety of ways to start building a park, one is to add progressively to the start landscape, which I chewed up and spit our considering the editor tools are a part of the game, just as the coaster game has got to be, 2nd is restructure the land to fit the fences etc., three, having played so much and as I do is, to nearly destroy the zoo at and build a super park, of course there is an editor too. These games have allot in common, but I did not find additive downloads as I remember, it has a neat campaign I think, you are a zoo keeper at starting level on toward management.
I did love it and did also give my copy away to a personage for her kids you see,
                  Ever try it ??
