But....  Crying I LOST MY COASTER!   Crying Crying Crying

 Crying this sucks!

Is such a shame you lost it, obviously you had put a lot of work into it but the
positive side is  you've learnt the basics so that should help you with your new coaster and hey, you can only get better and it will get easier to make  Thumbs Up  .......  Yes / No?.

I look forward to seeing a screenie of your next project.

Thank you for your words of encouragement.

Yes, it's gotten easier, but I'm at odds with the difference between excitment and intensity. I've built two coasters today, and both higher intensity than excitement. I'm not sure how to go about this. Needless to say, though, these two coasters are extreme! Is fun almost flying off the track! But I guess I need to tone 'em down. It would help if I could see the one I lost and compare it to these two. But, oh well.... I'll get where I wanna go eventually. I've got two more experiments I wanna try, and those will probably lead to others.

As you can gather, I'm into designing coasters at the moment. I wanna get back into desgining a park soon -- I'm gonna make some videos, so I need something to show. Where are you at? What are you up to with it? There sure are lots of different challenges in this game, and all of them are quite entertaining. Which avenue are you going down right now?

Oh! Did I mention that I played with the dolphin show mix master! That's a whole lotta fun! Have you tried that yet? You'll like that. I sat for at least an hour and a half just watching it! Is way cool!

And if CB is reading this, I got some questions for you. How long did you spend with it?  What was your primary interest, designing a park or designing coasters? Did you play any of the scenarios? And do you have the expansions? Let me know what interested you when you were playing it.

It was the layouts of the park that always interested me most and my attempts to get the peeps to utilize the entire park and all rides.  The next thing would be designing coasters.  I played only a couple of the scenarios, found their goals to be overly boring so went mostly with free scenarios and just made up my own goals as I went along.

Yes, i have found both of the expansions and the game itself in my electronic storage carousel.  Trying to get them to eject at the moment.

Heh heh! I sorta agree about the ingame scenarios. They're not boring.. they're impossible! In the Hollywood Backlot scen, you're supposed to build a coaster with a level 7 rating in limited space, and essentially no money.

Anyways, glad to hear you're digging 'em out. There's plenty here to provide entertainment, even if it's just part time.

What was your favorite coaster to design? I haven't tried many, but I sure like the bobsleds. Woot! They can scream!  Big Smiley Grin Laughing

My favorite has always been (and likely always will be) the woodies.  Theres just something about seeing the wooden support beams and posts that makes the rides look so much better to me than the single metal tubular sparse support posts that the more modern rides utilize.

I know it's somewhat limiting in how tall you can go, and how steep you can bank your turns and what not that it pales in comparison to the more modern steel toober rides, but theres definitely something to be said for woodies.  The creaking of the boards, the rough ride, the thought that it might collapse at any moment. Are you MAD?  There's no way in hell I'd ever get on a wood coaster! You gotta have a death wish to get on one of those!  No thanks! I wasn't born green, and I don't wanna turn green by getting on of those, and when I go to a theme park, I don't take along an extra pair of underwear!
