Well, I've been messing with the forums today since I've got some time on my hands today.  Here are the changes that have been made....  I will keep this one thread updated from now on with new information each time that I change or add things instead of posting multiple threads in different areas.

Aug, 28, 2007
Added a new theme called SimplicityIt is an extremely lite theme that is very minimalistic (is that a word, or did I make it up?) and doesn't contain many graphics so it's fast to load to get you to the meat and potato's of the site (messages in our forums).  You can choose this new theme, from the Theme chooser.  The Theme Chooser is a box on the left side of your screen and says exactly that "Theme Chooser", there is a dropdown list with the choices of themes you can use when visiting this site.  Simplicity is one of them.  Simplicity has the choice of multiple colors, so you can choose colors such as blue, sea foam green/white, brown, black/white, gray, red/white etc etc etc.  There should be at least one color to make it appealing to most people.  This theme should contain all the same features you have come to know on the CBG forums.
See Update Notes for August 29, 2007 below in regards to the Simplicity theme

Added a quick reply function to the message threads.  You will now have the option to use a quick reply box that is located at the bottom of each message thread page.  This might be turned off by default for everybody, so you'd need to click on "profile" at the top of any page on this site, then click on "look and layout preference" and down near the bottom of the page is an option for the quick reply.  It may be defaulted to off for everybody, so you can choose to leave it that way, or choose, "Show, off by default" which means it's still available at the bottom of each message thread page, but minimized, or you can choose, "Show, on by default" which means it's at the bottom of each message thread page, and is expanded and ready to be typed into.

One caveat of this quick reply system is that if you have your settings set to "Show, on by default" and you click on "quote" on another person message, then the quote of that message will appear in the quick reply box at the bottom of the page instead of the usual new reply page.  Using the reply button on any message thread page will still take you to the full reply window, so if all you plan on doing is using the quick reply for truly doing a quick reply then I would set it to "Show, off by default" and just open it (maximize it) by clicking on the right arrow icon next to the worlds quick reply down at the bottom of each message threads page, that way you will have quoted text of other message still go to a new reply page so that you can use text formatting smileys etc.  However, if you know the codes for text formatting and smileys, you can still type those into the quick reply window and they will function.  For example [ laugh] will produce Laughing and [ b] will bold this text [ /b][/b] (of course I've put in an extra space in these examples to show you what the code looks like.

Changed the color of the quoted text box to be more in-line with the other colors of our original CBG theme, instead of that light magenta color (which I personally disliked and have been hankering to change since day one but never had the gumption to get it done), it's been changed to a shade of blue closer to the background color of the website.
Quote
Quoted text is now viewed with this color background and this size font!
and has this line height

Increased the font size of quoted text.  I found that the quoted text was far too small, so I increased it from x-small to just small for easier reading and it is now in italics to differentiate it from the rest of the messages text.  I guess my eyes are getting old and need all the help they can get.

Removed "Simplicity" theme...  Due to some issues that I hadn't anticipated with the new lighter Simplicity theme I've had to remove it for the time being.  All members of the forum have been reset to use the original CBG theme.  When I can get all the issues resolved I will be adding the simplicity theme back in which is very light on graphics and thus loads the forum pages quicker than our traditional CBG theme.

Added *more* "Games that I own" to the users profiles.  You can now show your support for two more games that you may love.  I have added The Guild I and The Guild II as options that you can checkmark and have them show up in the messages that you type like the rest of the games that you own.  Simply go to your Profile page and select the Forum Profile Information link from the box on the left side of your profile information.  Scroll down a bit and you will see the two Guild game options that you can checkmark if you own them.

I have also added both The Guild I and The Guild II as an option you can choose as your favorite game, located in the same area.
