Yes Max I figure if heatproblems will continue to rise, the need for cooling will rise too.
We will end up with cases so big we can enter the computer via a door  Big Smiley Grin Laughing

Might be good for people who want to sit alone

I've seen the above case with a modern ATX board. It looked like some mini version  Laughing This case is a biggie.

If this is Antec's latest model, then the price tag locally to me is $499.00  Yes FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE DOLLARS!

I was at Frys when I saw one and had it in my shopping cart until I saw the price tag on the box showing me $499 I promptly put it back on the shelf.  On the shelf someone had moved it from it's original spot I guess and it was showing a price tag under the display unit of $149 which would be a complete steal.

If this isn't the same case that Im thinking of, my appologies.  But if it is, it's a quality made case and has a huge fan on the door, a top fan (which is brittle, so get a replacement in case your fingers get in the way) two PSU's as mentioned.

Im now waiting on Antec to put out this case without the PSU's because then I know it will be affordable to me.  Those two PSU's are whats holding the price so high.  Those 2 PSU's have got to account for about $300 of the price.  At the least.

I envy anybody (everybody) who buys this.

Yup, really really nice case, it's just those two PSU's that kill the deal for me.  Especially since I've only recently purchased a Thermaltake Toughpower 750W PSU to run my video cards.  I wonder how long it will be (if ever) before they release this case minus the PSU's, I'd definately jump on it if they did.  Because it's a big airy case that will most certainly keep the air inside of the case equal to the ambient room temperature that the computer is in.  I seem to remember that it had some good sound dampening material on the case as well but of course that doesn't dampen the sound of the fans spinning away so...  If a totally quiet enviorment is needed for someone then this case is probably not the best choice.  But for me, what with a ceiling fan whirling away, a Winix air purifier set on Turbo mode and a window Air conditioner set on Turbo, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

Heck my case is really REALLY LOUD.  But I can't even hear it over the window AC unit right now.  Seems strange to me that Antec is only selling them with the PSU's installed when people that are going to buy such a case most usually would have their own PSU that they bought specifically.

Oh well, I sit, I ponder and I wait for them to one day release the case without the PSU's in it.

I have some flexible aluminum air duct that Im thinking about hooking up to the front of my case (where the 120mm fan is) and hook up the other end to the window air conditioner to see what kind of temps I can get blowing in 48°f air into the case.  It would be interesting to see if it would bring down the temps of the components in the case to 48°f or close to it.

Wink   BE careful with sending super cold air into a 100F+ air temp environment.  The shock will create massive amounts of condensation..you certainly do not want that.  The 120mm should give you sufficient room temp (comfortable and not extreme) exchange of air to give temps close to what you feel comfortable seeing component wise.

Though I'll be the first to admit..Palm Springs temps are hard for me to imagine.. I've lived in a moderate climate zone all my life.. and it shows.   Smiley Blink

Hopefully I will get it next week  Looking around cautiously

Price here is $478. Funny it's a bit cheaper here.
But I bet you can find it even cheaper in the US.

The case is so big and heavy it contains a non private Mens-room  Big Smiley Grin Laughing
