I have taken the time tonight to restructure our forums main and sub categories to try to unclutter the main forum page.  As any old timer here knows we have categories for almost all of the city building games ever produced.  Unfortunately many of them see very little use but take up the same amount of space on the main forum page, so I have moved most of the lesser used forums and categories into the "Other 3D City Building Games" category.

This will allow you to collapse that category to give you a less cluttered main forum page.  If a particular games discussion picks up the pace that is in this new Other 3d city building games category then I'll move it back into it's own main category again to make it easier for people to see from the getgo.

I hope this neatens things up a bit.

CB is this the sort of thing you mean... I don't know why there's a big gap in the posts. Looking around cautiously

They need to be substantially smaller.  Really really substantially smaller.   When you get back next week take a look in the archive post at the images taht I attached to that message, they need to be probably half the size of those images for those on.png, off.png on2.png files.  They should be delicate looking and about half the size, they should also incorporate the eisting websites colors or complimentary colors but not be too far off so that they blend nicely with the background color of the page.

While these are flashy looking, I think they are too bright in color and definately too large and bulky (no offense I hope)  We can talk  more about it when you get back if you feeel like itl

Have a safe journey.

I've reattached the original images here and as you can see they are smaller than your images and Ideally it would be great if they were about half the size of the attachements in this message:

Thes images are each about 5x50 pixels so something about the size of 25x25 or maybe as high as 30x30 pixels would be what I would love to have. Of course getting wording on images that small is tough, and may not even be possible so they may have to represent their on and off state without words and by the overall look of them instead.  It depends on what you can do.

Anyway, we can talk next week.

For what it's worth, I don't like the new format with "my games" at the side. It makes for a lot of empty space in each post, requiring at lot of page flipping. The rest of it is OK  Agreed Happy
