I know!  Ubi...I tell you what...still a bit mad at them for ripping Arcane Studios away from any Arx Fatalis sequel to do Dark Messiah of Might and Magic...but I'll give them props for continuing with the Settlers stuff, realizing the mistakes of S5 and heading in the right direction again!

Hope all is going well with you CB!

Smiley Blink As it appears amongst the rational and calm player.. the best consensus is to wait at see.  We are all just looking for a great game..and would settle for a good game.. groan if it is marginal.. and if it is horrible..hope and pray that they fix it.

My personal views could've gone the same route of the Sim-complainers.  Just comparing Caesar III to Caesar IV could be made just as futile.. if I wanted to appear to be a "hardcore" fan that is...   Sticking Tongue Out

After watching the videos posted in the OP, I gotta admit, I'm looking forward to checking it out.  I tried SimCity 4, didn;t much care for it...  This intrigues me because I can think up quite a few societal experiments I'd like to run...

Have to admit I'll probably try it as well...but more for the fact that TM/Impressions really hasn't let me down yet...even Zeus, which was too cartoony for me, was worth playing through a whole GAGGLE of times!!

Im sure in the months to come, everybody here will end up convincing me to buy the game without the demo first.  Around here it's like trying to keep up with the Jones's, Ralph Jones buys a new game and I have to go buy that new game.  I must keep up with everybody else and have the fun that they are having regardless if Im really having that fun or not.

Everytime I try to play a game, and find additional gameplay information online, it always leads to some other game.  I guess I have Game A.D.D.

I was on here asking about the Guild 2 and Stronghold 2, which then led me to Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile, which then led me to CivCity: Rome, which led to Heritage of Kings Settlers, which led me back to The Guild 2, which then led me to Patrician III, which I am at this very moment looking over the PDF manual that comes with the Buccaneer's Bounty compilation from Amazon (contains Patrician 3, Port Royale 2, and Tortuga...)

On my list is Settlers 6 as well as the new SimCity Societies...  Too many games, not enough time...
