I know about this problem, regardless of what site theme you have chosen there are a great deal of forums that don't allow you to change it and it defaults to our old theme.

I have to manually adjust each forum (and theres a lot of them to do) so that the sites default theme (which is now the Original CBG Theme) over rides what the user has chosen as far as the theme is concerned.

I think this is why I never allowed people to choose their own theme in the first place and over rode everybodys selection way back then.  But I will get around to it eventually, still I suggest that people all use the Original CBG Theme to avoid confusion.

Yeah, it's only for me that the load times are slower.  But then again when Im on the immediate loopback, I can't expect to get better load times off of a server somewhere else on the net compared to one that is in the next room.

Definately less headache.  The past couple weeks we've had outages that can last from 30 seconds to 30 minutes or more, and it drives me just about batty to think that someone might want to actually use the sites when we go down here.

Now that the two sites that I own that get any action are on someone elses server, I don't have to bother with it anymore, if they go down I know that they've got a whole team working for them to bring them back up, and if my own internet service goes down, then it's time for a bathroom break or some television or book time.
