A PINK Cadillac.

I gotta protest #2. There is a black and white movie called Jailhouse Rock and a song by the same name.  I''m sure of this! So gimme my prize or I'll call the authoritiies -- namely Alex Trebek!   Disagreeing Madly

Furthermore, I coulda answered 'pants' in question #1 and you'd have to credit that as being correct! You can't say that pants weren't worn in that movie!!!

Thumbs Up  Thanks for the answer submissions

1.)  Name "pineapple" Movie and a common wardrobe attire used in it.(Two valid answers per entry)
Correct answer Sandra/Lengo  Blue Hawaii and grass skirts

2.)  Black and White original movie and song shared titles
Correct answer Sandra Love me Tender

3.)  Song title...and an oil rig worker share names  (one word)
New hint...  worker does the "dirty" work

4.)  What two gifts made numerous times by Elvis required a license?
       (must be specific)
     Correct answer Pink Cadillac Lengo
One more hint Jay Leno like these too.

note to Lengo.  Yep, Jailhouse Rock was B/W and had the same title song.  But it was like a year or so later and the 3rd movie  Elvis's Original movie was Love me Tender.  Even Alex gets picky sometimes..and yes I try hard not to make trick questions.  Hope you can forgive me if this one seemed to be just that...(the use of the word Original can denote 1st in the order of..whatever).. about the common warerobe..well my pineapple hint should of steered you in the right direction there. Smiley Blink  pants are greatly outnumbered by other attire on the Hawaiian Isles.

One more day and New Quiz Questions go up

Thanks again for the input. Wink

You need to work on your communiciation skills! You shoulda said FIRST!

WHAT??  That's just plain ignorant! People weren't running around in grass skirts. Surely Elvis didn't, nor any of the men. Did his bride wear a grass skrit? NO!  Did Elvis surf in a grass skirt? NO!

That's just plain silly!

Pants! And the girls is the audience were panting too!  Big Smiley Grin Laughing

Nothing wrong with my Communication skills Lengo ..If I wanted to use First that would've been a dead giveaway..so I relied on my other options.  That's what communications skills really appies to anyway.

Plus..This is a Quiz..which opens ALL the language options.

The grass skirts applied to the question..as they are used in luau's as the the Movie displayed them..as common native dress.

Ease up OK   This is suppose to be FUN.  The answers are not technical..but true to the question made in the Quiz..go with that.  It doesn't take a genius to answer questions about Elvis.

I'm off to a BBall game this evening..check in later

I'm being facetious, you! Can't ya tell when someone's being a wiseguy? And I AM having fun.... just perhaps too much! NOT!

 Big Smiley Grin Laughing

There's no such thing as too much fun. And as you are already aware, I'm gonna be the king of nonsense or die trying! I am The Walrus.

Besides, I'd rather take a trip in a Caddilac to Hawaii with a wildcat rather than a roughneck. Yes. I am guilty of a premeditated punch line.  Agreed Happy

So, shoot me!  Big Smiley Grin Laughing

What I'm trying to say is, I appreciate everyone's response about my humor.  Hello and Welcome I try my best to be silly. Honest! My sister says it's a gift. I think she's right! And If I can make you laugh, I shall.

Anything goes in communication skills? Ok, try this

Eras loco?  No pudi decir que Elvis desgaste faldas de la hierba! He'd look stupid in a hula skirt!

Although the smilies were there, I read it as being picky, it's very hard to ascertain from a post if the poster is being facetious or just having a go, just like it's hard to get across humour on a forum, everyone has a different sense of humour, and what seems funny to you,(or me), may not seem funny to someone else, I think Max is doing a splendid job with the quiz, and should be applauded. Thumbs Up

Hey! I make Arnold Shwartzenegger Schwarzenegghead GOVERNATOR look like a wimp when I flex my muscles! I hesitate to do this because I invariably rip my shirt!

Shoot you? Not until you get over here an' kiss me!

How's that for macho?  Big Smiley Grin Laughing
