 U No U R living in 2007 when

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven?t played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don?t have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.
7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn?t have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you go back and get it.
10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )
12. You?re reading this and nodding and laughing.
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.
14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn?t a #9 on this list.
AND NOW U R LAUGHING at yourself.

Hello and Welcome hehe Yep..you got me with that one Taz.

Nice of you to post something we can get a chuckle out of..much appreciation. Smiley Blink

Reminds me of lil quips my mother used to pull on me.

ex) No one has more driving ambition than the boy who wants to buy a car...or later "truck"  Laughing

then..when I wanted a pet. She said yep.."Scratch a dog and you've found a permanent job."  Didn't take me long to figure out that one.

Of course no one grows up totally free of what they "get into as a teen"..My observation of the present state of affairs.
Do you realize that in about 40 years, we?ll have thousands of OLD LADIES running around with tattoos? (And RAP music will be their Golden Oldies!) ..it also applies to alot of OLD MEN too..just to be fair.  Sticking Tongue Out

Thanks again Taz..nice post Smiley Blink

And in less than 40 years most people will be hard of hearing from listening to loud music.  Agreed Happy

Wink  I should agree with you Taz..  But my Dad said that would happen to me when I started a Rock band back in the 60's.  Yep..I do have a hearing problem..though not totally deaf...probably could be if I'd continued on that musical road. Looking around cautiously

I've been thinking...that I?ve finally reached the age where the happy hour is a nap.  It's that subtle acknowledgement that after a certain age, if I don?t wake up aching in every joint, I should accept that I'm probably dead. Sticking Tongue Out

Thank goodness I have a second opinion..recalling that I took my Aleve the night before.. <whew> that was close. <pinch> pinch>  hehe

I have a hearing problem too, and I've never listened to loud music. They have never figured out what caused it. I don't hear the higher pitched sounds, including some of the human voice sounds. Because of this I hear, but don't understand. Have had several hearing aids (the problem started when I was in my 40's (30 years ago)), but they didn't help as they just made all sounds louder. Now there are digital aids that are supposed to be "tunable" so these might help, but they are very expensive and we are trying to get the land paid off so hubby can retire (he's too young for SS and my SS is miniscule).

 Hello and Welcome Taz

Well I am an future candidate for Beltone..that's for sure.  My family has grown use to making sure that I am looking right at them whe they speak..though I can pick up I whisper for the G'kids like it's nothing. ..go figure??

My hearing loss is actually due to machinery..I worked as a kid with heavy equipment, maybe your husband can relate to the racket of a truck engine produces.

Hope you can still hear the music..I liked the CotN scores..some of the Stronghold.  In RRT games there's more banjo music, but they are golden oldie tunes that I grew up with, so they aren't as annoying to me as they are the younger players. Laughing  I'm sure you would recognize every one of the RRT songs. Wink

Big Smiley Grin Laughing Me too CB  I guess I've read too many post over the past decade..and now it's just a habit to "scan" text and never see any subtle discrepancies.

Taz..found a winner here..and I'd bet we are all guilty of at least a couple of the items listed. Sticking Tongue Out
