In case anyone's not aware, the CK and the official high resolution texture pack are now released on Steam.  You'll find the Creation Kit under Tools and the texture pack under Skyrim DLC.  85MB and 3.1GB respectively.

Looking forward to seeing what mods will be coming out in the next few days / weeks.

As expected, the Steam Workshop is full of junk due to lots of people throwing simple mods on.  However, there's some good ones on there, here's what I've grabbed so far:

Spells give off light
Magelight Shadows
Tougher Traps
Smeltable Dwarven Scrap Metal
Enhanced Blood Textures
Helmless Warrior (don't need helm for armour perks to apply)

From the Skyrim Nexus I also have:
Duel - Combat Realism (I haven't tested this very much yet)
SkyUI - a must have! (available on Workshop)
I've also boosted the walking and running speed of the player, NPCs. and horses a bit.  I think I also boosted the player maximum carry weight a bit as well.

Please list anything else you find interesting!  (you can link files from Steam by right-clicking on your subscribed item and choosing "Copy Link Address")

Also:
Check out this video of some very interesting mods from the Bethesda crew, that will hopefully be released for free or as DLC in the future!

- including flow based water shaders, snow footprints, seasonal foliage, and a whole lot more.

A warning - if you reorder your mods using something like the Nexus Mod Manager, the Workshop downloads them all again.  I think I'll revert to using the Skyrim Nexus.

Also, important info for using custom textures with the high resolution pack:
