Tea is good for you. It's a diuretic, for one thing, and its much better to drink that soda. I drink ice tea everyday.

Now, I'm no snob when it comes to tea, but i only buy one kind after trying many. It's the low grade tea (the fine powder that's left over after drying). It comes in bags that doesn't have strings. A box of 36 tea bags is 88 cents! And it's really, really good! It makes superb ice tea! The only thing is, DON'T make it too cold. I make mine in the morning, and leave it on the counter. If I have some left over at the end of the day, I put it in the frigegator and take it out in the morning. If the tea is too cold, it loses a lot of flavor. Keep it warm, then put ice in your glass. Is gooooood.

Oh! And don't forget the lemon. Ice tea without lemon is like a taco without taco sauce!

Sticking Tongue Out  I agree..Gotta keep healthy Lengo..  I drink more volume of tea than coffee..usually coffee just starts my day..can't drink it in the afternoon, I'm enough of an insomnaic already. Laughing

My sis insists that I drink green tea since she is convinced it is better for me.  So I do...don't mess with the "Dr" in the family.   Though she is just a physical therapist..but has quite a resume of creditials after 30 years. Wink

For excellent iced tea that will quench your thirst almost immediately, add 6 small tea bags to a one gallon pickle jar of cold water - put in half a cap of mint extract, screw the cap on,  and let it set in the sun on your porch for a few hours before refrigerating...fantastic!

Wink Ahh! MHB...now I wish for sunny days... I dearly love my sun tea.  I haven't added the mint though...I'll have to try it.. Smiley Blink  In the summer I have two gallon jars working everyday..hehe, well it's my fault, I have spoiled the neighbors.  We drink my Sun tea all day long, then about sunset have a lil Southern Comfort cordial..ahhh!!.. life is sooo good.
