Hello and Welcome Good story CB

I hate the "honking" alarms too.. all it takes is a bump of a shopping cart or door dinger.  I  thought about placing a security sticker on my car that said "ALERT!! Auto Cam Survelliance SMILE!! "

The Ice froze one my door windows (passenger side)..and now I need to repair the  up/down operation.  <sheesh>..first thing to go wrong with this rig. Sticking Tongue Out

Whoa! Thats' freaking scary! I bet your Rottie upset you as much at the people! I woulda hadda heart attcack fer sure!

WHAT! Why you! I have no BMW, you!  I'm not sure I like you anymore.  Big Smiley Grin Laughing

just kidding! please don't hit me!  Agreed Happy

Don't hate me......

It's an old BMW, it's a 1991 that I bought at half of the bluebook value.  I think the total price was about $2,000

Gosh I havn't had a brand new car in so long, I really want to smell the new leather, I want to have everything work perfectly, I want to hear nothing but silence as I drive, but I don't want the new car payments.

However if I were to buy a new car I think I'd splurge and go for a Kia Amanti as seen in silver on this page: http://www.kia.com/amanti/amanti-photos.php

I really like the way that the optima looks, though it's about oh....... $28,675 out of my price range with the total price of the vehicle being about $28,675 Laughing

Wink  The male love affair with the sleek figure of an auto..I gotta say I spent many a anxious moment in the pursuit of many makes and models. The aging process brings most things into prospective..but  I still think 007's latest ride is way cool... Laughing

Another stranger indicator..just looked at my now defunct 2006 calendar...yep!! it has 12 months of muscle cars on display..no bikini models stretched across their hoods either..*that's reeaaaly strange**..sad getting THAT old..heeh?

My current ride will probably outlast me...with low miles good service..I can't rationalize taking the chance switching to something else.  Years of experience keeps saying..if it does and has everything..keep it, use it..enjoy. Smiley Blink

Something about new paint..and the smell of exotic leather interiors..makes the pulse rate go into high gear.  My sister recently bought a new Toyota Camry..for close to CB's Optima price range.  It think it was the DvD Nav system..that got her attention  Looking around cautiously

I tried to reduced the imag...still seems large..Mmm? don't have PhotoShop on this PC.. Ssssh..... Don't tell anybody

Well, if I had my druthers, I'd druther have a Volkswagen Golf. Its very attractive, gets great mileage, is small and has a superb turning radius, and it gets the girls.

I have a friend who drives a Hyundai Sonata. This is ONE NICE CAR, but it's a little on the large side for me. But it's very comfortable, and completely luxurious!

Then there's the Astin Martin. Erm.... who has that kind of money? BUt for styling, I don't think you can do much better.

So realistically (erm, unrealistically), the VW Golf is most affordable, and delivers all that you need if you don't have kids.  ANd surprisingly, it has plenty of room in it for it's size. So, if you start saving now, you can get me one for next Christmas!  Agreed Happy  Still, I'd be satisfied with a Geforce 7600GT!! Think how much money you'd save!!

Always thinking of you,
