So ya... I am desperately trying to hold out.
I figure I could wait till Christmas where it would probably show up on a steam sale, and also know that many of the initial bugs have been squashed, but I don't know if I can do it...

The game is calling, and the buy now button is so appealing... lol

If you have not seen them yet, here is a good rundown of a lot of the game and its features: http://www.youtube.com/v/LZzADxVZP50&rel=1,
in other words just another way to make you pissed its not 11.11.11 yet.

Yeah it's a tough one...

The last two Elder Scrolls and Fallout games I've loaded up with mods to improve the gaming experience, so it's usually good to wait for a bit for the first patches and mods to come out.

But of course I'll be getting it straight away, can't help it Smiley Blink

I'm sure it'll be better than the horrible Sword of the Stars 2 launch anyway.

I think I've found w/ Bethesda that, while EVERY GAME made has a few bugs to start, they are pretty damned spot on from the get go, with few if ANY quest killers out there, so this is one I'm jumping on at midnight on 11-11-11...geez, explain that to the kids! Hey boys, I'll be popping out in the middle of the night for a couple minutes...no, not the pub, a comupter game Big Smiley Grin Laughing

Watched the first 23 minutes of the game last night, A.I still looks clunky, but my god the engine is a massive improvement, was a shame the video was in such low resolution and I think it has been taken down now. But I really cannot wait for this, to bad I am going have to wait a bit longer to be able to play it..

Concerning bugs:
I guess they have some system that is automatically playing the game and looking for bugs, and the game is going to come out with some sort of bug tracker so they can constantly monitor for bugs and post fixes within hours...
I'll be pretty impressed if it all really works.

If you're interested in mods, make sure you're registered for the Skyrim Nexus if you're not already (your login from any of the Nexus sites will work). There's already some useful information on the site.

I'm expecting some mods to be released on the first day.

Now I just need to figure out where to purchase it from... it's $89.99US for Australians on Steam. Oh, and Arkham City is now $99.99US Sadness but at least I can get that much cheaper from Green Man Gaming.

Yea you guys get screwed on a constant basis with pricing...
I'd be willing to gift it to you to save you $20 if that helps.

I'm really getting amped up for this game... I have to work Friday though :x, assuming I get any sleep that night.
