I'll wait until CB responds as to whether or not he's still interested in a new banner before I worry about changing anything, but an Anno 2070 screenshot would work pretty well.

I think it looks good, on my resolution (1920x1200) I do get about an equal part of the star field background over on the right side, which I can understand being for the future.

The one in the center seems a bit muddied and hard to tell what it is, maybe that could be cleared up just a little bit?

That's a screenshot from Anno 1404 using the postcard view, so it's a bit blurry.  I'll see if I can get a better shot or clean it up.

Thanks for putting the new banner up - only issue is that it's hard to read the "Show unread posts since last visit" etc at the top left.  I'll see what I can do about it.
