Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platnum edition (includes both soaked and wild expansion packs) now on sale at steam for $10.20 for the next 13 hours.

Get it while you can if you don't already have it.  But remember the game is over 4 years old.

It still looks quite good though thanks to the graphical style, especially with AF and AA added through the GPU control panel.  With the included Soaked expansion it runs in proper widescreen, though you may have to edit C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Atari\RCT3\Options.txt to input the desired resolution.  Coastercam is unfortunately still stretched, but it looks fine.

Also, don't leave the graphical settings on High, as they aren't actually maxed unless you choose Custom and bump everything up.

It's a great sim game, and there aren't many of them, so I'd also recommend grabbing it.

Yup, I just picked it up, I know that I've got it on disc around here somewhere but it's worth it to me to have it in Steam since I'm not likely to try to dig out the disc to play the game  and heck, $10 is almost what we spend at Starbucks once a week for two drinks as we go to the dog park on Sunday mornings so...

I was about to post about the widescreen as it's what I went looking for before buying it since I didn't want to get stuck at 1024x768 on my widescreen monitor, that would drive me nuts.

Also you'll find some beefing about the GUI in the game, which is pretty much what I meant about the game being over 4 years old.  It's not exactly the best GUI ever produced for a game, a whole lot of clicking to turn things on and off, open and closed, place and remove etc.  You'll find the beefing on our forum here under the RCT forum category.
