How many of you guys use this site? I've been on it for a while now, and theres some pretty awesome stuff on it, am wondering when they'll finally get around to putting some of the Sim City classics on it, recently signed a deal with EA to release some games, not sure if EA are the rights holders or what these days. Anyway, theres some awesome stuff on it..

I only just read about it from Notch's tweet a while ago. Good to know another place to get games. I hope they have some good sales.

they do, usually a sale very weekend, and their catalougue is expanding ever so more these days, its very good site. I got heores 3 complete and Civilisation call to power from it, the best free game you get when signing up imo, would be Tyrian 2000, classic shooter. hehe

I was on that site on Friday wondering whether to give "The Nations" a go, was wondering if they had updated it enough to run on higher resoltion screens as they say its compatible with XP and Vista.

It will run with on Vista, XP and 7, the guys on the site make it so the games come in a simple setup.exe file, so you just click and go, it saves all the fuss with having to deal with single files or CD images. The games come in a archive with wallpapers, manuals, editors, in-game sound tracks etc. It's very cool if you ask me heh.

I enjoyed playig The Nations until I got a larger monitor, now I don't know that I could go back to 1024x768 or 1280x1024 or what ever it's highest res might be.  It's been a long time since I played it.

GoG is a great site, been using them for a while.  All their games are DRM free and updated to work with newer versions of Windows, and include free extras such as manuals, soundtracks and maps etc.  Plus they've recently acquired Alpha Centauri, a classic game.

I wish that was Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 with it's expansions for $6, I think I'd go for that one.  While I enjoyed RCT back in the days of our monitors maxing out in res at 1024x768 (or around there), I just don't think I could go for that again.
