If you registered for membership on this site but have not yet received the confirmation activation email, there are 3 main reasons.

  I went to the Amazon site today to place my pre-order for Dawn of Fantasy only to see it had been removed from their listings, so curious, I went over to Reverie to see what the latest buzz was and nothing was mentioned of release date or otherwise, so I registered so I could ask a question or two and then more out of hope than desperation pressed the button to apply for a Beta key and hey presto was rewarded with a key. I was amazed because they are pretty damn scarce.

 [grinn]I'm downloading it now, even on a fast cable network its a good 2 hours plus, Ah! its just finished so at last, hopefully I can get to grips with this beauty and give it a work out, it looks now the final release will be Autumn (Fall)

Awesome, I just applied and it told me I was eligible as well so I'm downloading the updater now, and I guess then the game .

Had no idea the game existed, but signed up for a beta key to try it out :D

At the moment they are giving away Open Beta keys until June 15th and have even made more available, just go to the forum, register, make one constructive post and then try that Apply button at the top right of their forum site - seems to work every time. Whereas those that have registered and are awaiting via the email method - a lot have been disappointed

The only snag I'm getting right now is when I try to log on to the Online Kingdom mode when making a new account, it comes back to me with "Invalid EMail Format" I'm not sure what's going as an email is an email, maybe this section isn't working at the moment. Also without a manual or some explanation its a little difficult to know what to do and in what order, it looks like a very interesting game at the moment and the Artwork is of a high order and realistic to boot.

I started off with defending my castle which sounded exciting.  Ideas of placing boiling pots of tar along my castle walls and digging out traps in the ground sounded very fun to me.

The game starts and I see my castle and my troops mulling around doing nothing.  I give a couple of them orders to man the walls but nothing happens.  Next thing I know my castle is overrun with the enemy scaling the castle walls.

Ragequit > Programs & Features > Dawn of Fantasy > Uninstall........  Pause.......  I'll give it another chance to wow me.

CB: Its damned annoying when that happens. Have you tried to login and make an account in the Online Kingdom section because I think that is where the interest lies, in building up and planning the domain, when I tried I got an invalid email format message so if you were successful maybe you could let me know what pleases it. I tried the Kingdom World Map campaign, which is even more mysterious, but within minutes of starting I was informed that a neighbouring AI castle had declared war on me whilst I was still getting my act together. Then on auto resolve, thinking we were evenly matched and me having the home advantage - got defeated. Then my castle outline went went pink and blue and all the land titles went skewed and nothing else much happened. I just wonder if they have given us a taster of an unfinished project. The funny thing is on their forum there doesn't seem to be any feedback or explanation as to what to expect or do or anything.

Anyway for tonight's project I'm getting started with "World of Tanks" an MMO which has had a lot of praise and looks good, so I'm off to join the Steel Cowboys --Whoopee!

I didn't even post a message, signed up, applied, immediately accepted, downloaded and tried for a little.  It still seems like it needs quite a bit of work though...
