Wow...okay, I'm really REALLY don't like travelling at the holidays!  Three days in one spot, three days in another, four hours of travel in between and now I'm getting ready for the time of year when I travel a lot for work!

But hey, no complaining...I've been hammering away at Gothic 3 like there's NO tomorrow...taking a solid break from builders after a seven month run of some great builders!

I'm itching...REALLY itching...to play Caesar 4 again..that or 1701...or The Guild 2...

Anyhow, just wanted to drop a quick note saying hi!  Sorry I've been so absent!  And I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season and has a better and brighter 2007!

I promise to be around a bit more, even if I'm currently playing an RPG right now!

Later all, and again, happy holidays and an extra thanks to CB again for this site!

...and to you all for your general attitudes!  That's what makes this place great...

later,
pat!

Hello and Welcome Great to hear/see you are back, and safe and sound.  We didn't travel this Holiday.  Some of the relatives from AZ and So Cal made the trek to play in our snow (on the nearby mountains)...so that's the extent of our Holiday recreation.

I agree with the kudos..and your presence is goodly part of the equation. Big Smiley Grin Laughing

My next month includes four days in Hampton, Va., a swing through Madison, Wisc., and Minneapolis and a trip to Ithaca, N.Y.

February and March bring three straight loooong trips to Detroit!

Big Smiley Grin Laughing I just had a feeling you'd clear all this up for us pat!!

Back in my working days..my frequent-flyer miles were more than I could ever redeem in one lifetime. "WhataRacket" was my comment.. I sure like being more of a "potted plant" presently, sitting in my comfy chair, watching the Orange Bowl and playing a contest map for P3..gave up on Gothic 3 for the moment.  <sort of healin up a bit>  Laughing

I might install Sid's RR game..I played RRT I,II, III to death..loved those rail schemes, and the aggressive AI. Sticking Tongue Out

Railroad Tycoon was one of the first games i played (on mac no less!).  How is the new Railroads!...worth the purchase do you think?

I'm off buying new games for a while (with all the ones I've recently purchased, I feel they need more time from me!), and am waiting only at this point for Europa Universalis 3, Rome: Heart of Empire and The Witcher...

Thumbs Up  I did pretty well with the RR games.  Never touched a mac with them though (hehe)  I do remember helping players with C III who used Macs..even bought a little iMac to aid in some game contest settings  Laughing that was a riot as you might imagine.

O'boy!! More EU play.. that I will dive into..and Rome:HotE, Mmm?  Not familiar with the Witcher, suppose I such surf more rather than playing all the time. Looking around cautiously I'd be better informed.

Update on Sid M's RR game..gotta get it all patched up..before I toss my hat into the ring.

Always great to exchange posts with you pat  Thanks!! Smiley Blink
