I enjoy reading the few city journals here and I have noticed that the idea was really dieing.  So I was wondering if we could do something to increase intrest in the City Journals.  This is my idea for it.  We could have a contest where people write a however long journal and enter them in a forum just for that and then after say a month, people judge them and whoever gets the most votes after two weeks of voting say, gets an award in their profile and bragging rights.  Maybe they can even be the City Journal Moderator.  Then people might be inspired to write City Journals and it will add to the forums.

Unfortunately, the idea never really took off here.  It seems to me that hardcore simcity 4 players are more into the city journals than are general city builder fans for some reason.

Yea, I guess that was why I thought of this idea.  I am a big SimCity fan.  Especially SimCity 4+Rush Hour Expansion.
