Simcity 4 is only $4.99 on steam today. I Know probably most if not everyone here owns it already, but if like me you would prefer to have it on steam instead of having to use a cd, then nows your chance to get it cheap.

Awesome, thank you.  While I do have it (actually multiple CD's and DVD's since I've bought it several times) I was waiting for it to come on sale on steam to get the electronic version so that I don't have to dig out the disks anymore to play.  This makes me more likely to play SimCity 4.

Yep, I weakened and bought it..come to think of it, I didn't need to think about it for too long  .
I am especially noticing not needing to put the disk in and it is great. All my plugins and the region I was mucking about with is showing too.  I had wondered whether the plugins would've needed to be put elswhere but no siree. 

Have you tried the custom resolution in the steam launch option CB and if you have is it working fine for you?

Works just like the regular version with regards to adding the custom launch options in steam (Whoot!)

The puppy is so cute, and is in that stage of nipping at us, since I sport a goatee it seems that he thinks there might be a nipple under my 'fur' since he keeps trying to part my goatee to look for food.

I'm trying to break him of it, since it's rather painful when he takes a good bite on my chin or my jugular vein.

But other than that, he understands wee wee pads most of the time and is getting around to walking to the back door when he wants out.  So so adorable at this stage.

I am not sure what compelled me to skip out on getting SimCity 4 on steam for $5, but I passed it up,  But since I can get the expansion to GAR for $3, I had to finally throw down on it.  I might not play it too much, but it might get me back into it and it is $3!

Oh and CB you gave me a good laugh, glad to see your puppy is doing well!  My fiancee really wants one but we still live in an apartment and I want to hold off until we have more space.
