Smiley Blink I have just received a copy of EIC ordered from Amazon and delivered by Air Mail from Canada, well travelled game literally and metaphorically. I was just wondering if there was any interest in this title from the forum members.

When it first came out it suffered long loads and bugs, subsequent patches and a Directors cut adding more material and gameplay have improved things reportedly. I shall be testiing it out shortly and will let you know.

Compared with Patrician 1V it seems more robust and lively with better graphics

Regards

I look forward to what you have to say about it after you dig into it.  I played it briefly before the Directors cut was released and only a little less briefly after the Directors cut was released but couldn't seem to really get into it.  It may well have been that I didn't stumble upon the stuff that might make it more interesting than I found it to be in my brief interactions with the game.

Anyway, looking forward to what you have to say about it, maybe I'll unearth it and give it another go if you find the interesting bits.

I did play it briefly and found it to be a hollow version of Patrician 4 w/ more aggressive pirates...I did like it, it's a neat concept and I know they've released a number of DLC add-ons I think that add more content/missions, etc.

pat!
