 Smiley Blink Just thumbing through Web User magazine where they feature best free software and saw something that might interest you 3D modellers out there. Its Google SketchUp 8

Although you can use it to create any 3D object it is particularly useful for buildings and can be used in conjunction with Google Earth. the pro version is $495 Ouch! but the free edition should be enough to cater for most peoples modelling requirements.

It's good.  Samantha uses it and loves it.  She uses it to design sets for theater productions and tells me it really suits her needs.  She "sketches' up everything from the building that will house the production to the set itself down to the lighting rigs.

Yes it would be ideal for that, it has many applications. I wonder how difficult it would be to design a game using this or would it be possible even and to introduce some Cultures style people  who have independent ways and are motivated by food. I have no programming skills and no interest(but plenty of respect for those that do) but can bolt things together like in a Map Editor
