I'm just so excited I had to spill it out.

My new baby was born at 1:36 PM, Today (Friday 10.29.2010)

My friend who is the breeder told me that he looks to be a healthy and happy chocolate boy.

More details later next week after she has taken some pics of him.

I still haven't come up with a name for him yet, it will have to be a human boy name, I just haven't come up with one yet, I was going with Guntaer (pronounced Goonthur) but now I'm not so hot on the name, I'll have to give it some more thought now that he's alive and kicking.

Samantha is going to be so happy when she gets back from work, we were both hoping to have another chocolate brown boy, and sure enough, second one out of the mother.  I bet he was fighting to be first out.  Laughing

We'll be picking him up in aproximately 5 1/2 weeks from today.  A furry little bundle of hell raising joy.

Some names that I'm considering right now:
Eli
Gunthar (Gunnar)
Daniel (Danny)
Andrew (Andy)
Tyler (Tye)

Nicholas (Nicky)
Kevin (Kev)
Hunter
Aidan (Ayden) (addy)
Matthew
Alexander (Alex)

Totally incomplete list, and may not name him any of these, these are just part of the top 100 baby boy names as recorded by the social security administration for 2010

I've got more looking to do.  When I named Weston, it came out of a book of baby names, I went through the entire book until I hit on Weston without finding a single name that I wanted for him.  Then I hit Weston and knew right away that it was the right name.  I'm hoping to stumble on the right name for the new baby as well.

Westons full registered AKC name was Weston Super Mare (the super mare part came from one of Samantha's neices who was from the U.K. and the first time she met Weston, she called him Weston Super Mare (named after a city in the U.K. (Super Mare) and it stuck, although 'unofficially' his name became Weston  Super Bear and a nick name of just Boo Bear which was taken from Poo Bear because Weston tried (and succeeded) in eating one of those rope bones that dogs play with, and while I was in the pool one day I saw him freaking out and he kept trying to get to his rear end, low and behold, there was a bit of the rope bone hanging out, so we pulled it gently to remove it and since then he was nicknamed Poo Bear, but we couldn't call him that in public, so eventually it turned into Boo Bear.

While I am not bothered by giving the new baby a nick name of Boo Bear (if it feels right when we get him), I can't name him Weston (no matter how much I love that name) as it would be inappropriate and a slap to Westons memory, so  New name is needed.

What shall it be, what shall it be?

Smiley Blink  Hi CB and Hello again to all the regulars on CityBuilder forum

Oh! I'm so glad to hear the news of your new "baby" as I was so saddened by the news of the demise of your faithful friend and the deep hurt it caused you, now I see you're recovering, time is a great healer and a new bundle of fun is a great way to keep you occupied.

All the best

Thanks so much  my friends.

I remember, I think it was Pat maybe, that told me that eventually the tears would turn to smiles when thinking about my beloved Weston and he was right.  It took me a long time but when I think about Weston now, I almost always smile.

For the first month or two, everytime that I thought of Weston , it would just about bring me to my knees in tears, now I'm thankful to say that almost 5 months is upon me and I smile a lot when I think of Weston, it seemed so bleak right after he passed, but things look so promising with the new pup towards having something for my life to gravitate around again.  I know that no new pups will fill that void in my life that is missing Weston, however I know that this new pup will build a new mountain of joy in my life to where the void doesn't feel nearly as big as it did the first couple of months.  Let's just hope that mountain of joy doesn't look like this:  Big nasty pile of Poop Laughing

As of the moment, I've decided on the name of Austin.

I don't know if that will change in the next 5 weeks or not, perhaps another name might come along that instantly grabs me and says, "I AM the name you are looking for'.  We'll have to see.

The pups are all doing great, and the mother, Camielle is also doing great and being a great mother.  The pups had their apointments made for this week to get their tails docked, which I'm very thankful for since it is what a poodle is all about, and leaving them in their natural state just looks so wrong to me.

Plus with the state that my legs and feet are in, I don't think I could handle another long tailed dog smacking his tail on my legs.  When Jessica (our dalmation) does that I litterally scream out in pain, so docked tail it must be.  Thankfully the breeder also feels this way.

Still hoping for some pictures later this week to share.  If not then the following weekend I'm going to go down to my breeders home and take my camera and video camera with me to take my own pictures.  I'm just dying to see the little furry bundles right now.

You are in luck then, a picture or two came in my email late last night.

These are the pups with the mother Cameille.

Turns out that there were only 2 boys out of the litter of 8, and my friend the breeder is giving me the pick of the two boys what with the situation that happened to Weston plus I gave her all the money for the pup in one month where as she only received small deposits on some of the other pups and she's apparently in financial trouble and needed the money to pay to care for the pups, as they've got to get tail dockings, dew claws removed, (happened today actually), and general care of the pups.

So, I hope I pick the right boy.

Yeah, my friend doesn't know how to set the date on her camera Laughing
