Steam now has it for Oct. 14...I'm thinking of going with Gamesplanet because you can download and burn to DVD....

Only 13 more minutes left on my download, then I'll be able to burn it to disk and give it a whirl.

One semi important thing to remember is that it utilizes SecureRom as the DRM, so only 5 activations allowed before you have to contact FHI and or Metaboli to add more.  So if you ever need to reformat your computer make sure to put it on your list to uninstall it so that you can deactivate the game and get back your activation.

It's not usually a problem getting more activations on ones account, but if you can avoid the hassle, then why not.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the maps that I've never seen before.  A total of 48 maps, with 3 of each on the globe to build cities on.  I never took advantage of the free 7 day trial for planet offer, well that is to say that I loaded it up on Planet Offer online, played a city to 20k pop and quit and put the game away.  Strange how I found it totally uninteresting back then but find it fascinating now.

Oh and with SecureRom, make sure you dont have any drive emulation software installed, else it might throw an error from SecureRom for the obvious reasons.

CB, I still don't have my activation key from metaboli/focus HI....how long should I be patient before I begin screaming at them?
