Oh I am telling you it is FANTASTIC!  And right now, I'm working w/ JoWood and Runeforge on the official expansion for The Guild 2!  It will add a TON of playability to the game!

later,

I was toying with adding it to my small but growing collection of games on Steam as well.  I've got the physical disk but I have to admit once I jumped into Steam I've found it to be rather convenient not having to dig out disks for the games that I also have on Steam.  I'm only hesitant because I'm not sure how much I'd actually play this, I know I didn't play it when it was last installed all that much, had a few technical issues with it and lag.  Usually I only buy the steam version of the games that I've already got if I played them a lot in the past and know I'll play them a lot again.

Maybe I'll have to dig out the original disk and see how it plays on the new computer.

Well I ended up getting it.  For 4 dollars why not.  Only loaded it up to see it and get the settings cranked up.  But looks interesting.  I had tried the demo a long time ago and know if I sit down and get an understanding for it, it is a game that will steal plenty of hours.

And pad, pretty sweet you are helping with the game.  No doubt it will be awesome.  I have also seen some jowood developers on the steam forums and they seem really helpful and honest.  Looking forward to finally understanding what this game is all about.

Only problem now is I bought about 5 other games lately, lol.  (Fallout 3, Bioshock 2, Rct3, Tales of Monkey Island, and now this.)  Damn steam and their great sales... odds are I will find More to buy too.

Crowebird, I know what you mean re: buying too many games when they are on sale!  I tend to lean towards buying the older games I never purchased...like I just bought Railroad Pioneer for 2.95 on Gamersgate!

Works for me on Windows 7 (64). Lots of negative info (posts) on it though. The forum has been archived here. Last post was 2004 that I read.
