I agree...this is one that I'll have to 'temper' my enthusiasm because P3 is still one of my top three all-time favorite games (along with The Guild and Morrowind I guess).

But Kalypso, in my opinion, did fine by tropico 3, so I'm in high hopes for this!

P3 might be my favourite. . . .  I cant think of anything that rivels it at the second (Anno 1404 did for a week. . .  until i got sick of stuck up noblemen -_-)

ofcourse its in german, but still.

It looks like they have gone 3D in the town views (i have no idea about the world map view(maybe phased out?))(although some of the buildings look kinda ugly.  others look quite pretty)

Sidenote; ships look kinda disapointing, the whole sails up while in harbour turns me off, as does what looks to be only snakas :/. . . infact, eerything harbour related is disapointing (i know these are early screens but oh well)

I know this is a long post, and there is lots of brackets, but as you can tell, im overly excited.  :/

I'm positive, in looking at these screenies, that there will be the world map.  It really looks from these that they are keeping the spirit of the original's gameplay in tact!  Very exciting.  Cities look huge w/ lots of area to build both inside and outside the first set of walls...also, like the screenies that has the multiple tabbed menu that said Gilde on it...seems like there will be a depth of play that is very exciting!

And glad to help :) (it actually took me half an hour to write that little repy because i kept spelling things wrong and getting over excited and trying to type faster then i can etc.  :P)
