 The main storyline of Flying Trader reaches a point where it suggests that in order to progress, one should gain reputation in the underworld.  I have completed numerous smuggling jobs, yet my profile still says "the underworld is avoiding you".
  I would be interested if anyone who has gained respect with the underworld could tell me how they went about doing it (especially if it was in the Flying Trader campaign).

Hey guys :)

That thread isn't quite what your looking for.  (though I'm not sure how to get an underworld rep either)

I deal in pirates most times and am a pirate fairly often (being a honest trader gets old for me :D)

And. . .  Its always said the underworld avoids me :/

I'm pretty sure you gain the rep by doing missions for the folks like smugglers, etc.  And by NOT posting ships outside of the town harbors to protect against pirates....
