I havne't been able to find any real official, especially from Kalypso, but GameTrailers.com has a debut trailer for Patrician IV...   http://www.gametrailers.com/game/patrician-iv/12924

Thanks wizaerd, but I don't know how they could improve on it.  They could change it I guess and make it more like Guild 2? I don't know.  Add a 3d world? That won't improve the gameplay.  Who knows.

A couple thoughts here...Patrician 3 is a game that is always installed on my computers because it is one of the deepest, richest, most well thought out and historically engaging games ever made.  I still play it and, while I am a graphics whore, I am never bored or turned off by its appearance.  The great folks at Kalypso have purchased all of Ascaron's content and have even employed many of their people, so hang on tight folks, the journey is about to begin again!

Ah very cool.  I, too, was a graphics whore and then one day it just kind of stopped.  My 8800 GT card broke I played games on my integrated.  That's how I discovered Galciv, which I thought was a big game.  This Patrician 3 is one mammoth game.  And I haven't even operated 2 ships yet.  I have been playing with my calculator and notes and excel spreadsheet open trying to get the low down on prices.  I hope to start a good auto trade route or two pretty soon.
Good to know folks still playing.

Can you tell me how the minimum lock works for auto ships in the Trading Office? I thought it was a sort of reserve for ships but it does not work that way so far.
