If you registered for membership on this site but have not yet received the confirmation activation email, there are 3 main reasons.

Hi Guys and Gals,  I'm just keeping this list of "known" bugs that Bluebyte has acknowledged for you in case any of us run up against them....

I just read this post from BlueByte about map 10 and thought you should be aware of it before you get to that map:

1.  "Unfortunately there's a bug causing corrupt (ie crash on load) savegames on map 10 - you will have to beat that map without savegames until the next patch is out - sorry"

2.  "heya, at the end of the second mission after talking to rameriez the game crashed luckily the auto save hit 1 min before this i tried it again and it crashed at the same time, any ideas how to fix?.

it says

a file error occurred
("c:\users\ME\Documents|Settlers7\\Profiles.xml")!

i brought the game of gamersgate

Your profile got corrupted somehow. Just delete the file it is complaining about and it will be restored from the server the next time you start the game.
Will be fixed in the next patch.

Thanks CB...since I already installed the first patch, I'm wondering if that stuff is addressed in it....

I'll let you know when I get to map 10!

First patch already huh?  I wonder if it was included with the steam version or maybe they've  just not patched The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom yet on the steam or at the very least, not showing anything in the update history for The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom.

I'm still wishing that they patch in a map editor
