Well, heres another MMO, it's not a free MMO however, but it is enjoyable thus far.

Champions Online.  You create your super hero character, with really great customization of how your in game character looks.  So far I'm only into it for about 10 hours and up to level 7, so while I'm not really feeling liking I'm doing all that much super hero'e type of quests just yet, I am enjoying it.  I picked it up from Best Buy yesterday as we had an hour and a half to waste since the crematorium was too hot for the technician to go in there to finally take care of Weston, and since it was only a 20.00 game and comes with the usual 1 month free play, I figured I'd give it a try, worst case I only play it for a month and then unsubscribe.

While I won't make a recurring subscription I can see myself playing this for maybe 4 to 8 months scattered through out the year.  I have to admit though, the game has a terrible economy according to what I've read and people have even told me in game with almost everything on the auction house being terribly overly expensive according to the players that I've talked to thus far, and that is one of the big parts of the MMO's that I enjoy playing around with so I'll have to make my final decision when I get to a level to where I can get to the big city and the auction house I suppose.

Still, I enjoy the powers that my champion super hero has, and I love the way that almost everybody's characters look totally different, and the environment is pretty for that comic book style.

I wouldn't suggest anybody run out and pick it up, but if you're in the mood to try an alternative MMORPG and don't mind blowing the $20.00 then you may want to give it a try.  Perhaps there might even be a demo available maybe.

The two images below are what is called a costume card, it means that by simply saving the image into the correct folder for the game, you could load the costume onto your own character.  The first image was my first try at creating a costume and I like the way it came out.  I was shooting for half man half tiger, but then with the second image decided to make him more tiger like and less human and hence the second costume card.

Been working on a new character build, going for an Electrician (Electricity, duh)  His costume card is attached...

His Bio:
Electrode, a true livewire. Born 7lbs 8oz in Holland, to Mr and Mrs .... (Name withheld for protection of his family) Electrode immigrated to Millennium City in
2009.

Studying under the great Master Electrician, Gigavolt, Electrode showed a promising career as an Electrician with his natural ability to conduct and transfer Gigawatts of electricity that would normally kill any living creature.

Unlike many Champions that are born with their special powers, Electrode draws his powers from proprietary Lithium Zeon batteries in his belt. If his belt were removed, he would have no powers at all other than he could stick his finger in a light socket and laugh about it.

The only special natural abilities that Electrode has is that his body is able to withstand and conduct millions of amps of power. It is this special ability that allows him to draw power from the Lithium Ion high voltage batteries in his belt through his body and eventually discharging from his hands and custom created eye diffuser.

When enough amps are built up in his body, he is capable of discharging the electricity in a massive storm of electricity, doing damage to all living beings around him that are not properly grounded.

Many people have seen our Hero flying around, this too is powered by the Lithium Ion High Voltage batteries in his belt and transferred to his boots. His boots take the electricity and funnel it through special nozzles in the soles which provide the lift and movement and keep him floating above the earth.

Make no doubt about it, Electrode had a good childhood, his mother and father were NOT killed by some evil being, his partner is alive and well as is their dog, Weston.

He's in the Hero game purely for the money and the acclaim. He makes no effort to hide this fact. His services are 'paid' for.

Make sure to stand clear when he discharges as he's truly 1,000,000 volts of live wire.

His proposed build:
