Well, just finally got it installed on my homebuild as well...THREE HOURS to install and install the two patches...but it's there and working fine!  Pretty nifty title, I'd say a solid $20 diversion so far!

later,

Fantastic, I'm so pleased that you finally get to play it.  Theres a lot of landscape to traverse in S2 as well like the other games that we've played over the years.

It also has time of year events (toye Holiday Presents) , so when you feel like it, set your clock to around Christmas time and visit the captain in the Visalyia (can't spell) dock area to go to the christmas island.  I only mention it because I don't want you to miss the (toyes) since you're not likely to be playing it, when it activates (if it activates), I can't remember if it was activated by time (i think so) or if it was the developers that turned it on and off, Im' pretty sure it was by time.

CB, have you ever found a way to unlock the tilt on the came so you can see more out in front of you from close in?  Boy, if I could do that, then this would feel more like a 3rd person game than an iso-view game...still, I love that wonderful Ascaron sense of humour...man I miss that company...

I want to say that there is a way to alter the camera but it's been sol long that I don't honestly remember how or if it's just my desire to have wanted to do so.  I want to think that there is a file that can be altered to allow changing the camera to some degree, but you know me, I play so many games that I may very well just be thinking of another game.

Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer on it.  If there is a way, Im sure I would have found it on the official forums.

There's places in the beginning that makes the world seem really small by cutting off areas with trees that one can't past, but once past that the world is absolutely huge.  It's one of those worlds though that I'll never visit all of it due to respawning monsters which start to get on my nerves after a while, so it's a world though that is good for both types of players, those that like to explore every nook and cranny and those that just like to stick to the path (like me).
