It has been AGES since I have played any Real City Building games!

I have been playing Sims3 and building homes (and playing a little) and submitting them on The Sims Resource. And I have been playing Dragon Age and Aion.....

The last time I played SimCity Societies I got frustrated when I tried to Mod and messed up my game and then lost my hard drive and never re-installed this game.

The Box has SimCity 4, SimCity Rush Hour, SimCity Societies, SimCity Destinations and something called SnapCity:Carnival. For $20 it seemed to be a pretty good buy?

I just looked at the SimCity forum and nobody has really "talked" there in like 2 years ROFL - so thought this might be a good place to see what everyone/anyone thinks of this "pack".

It seems that the Mods for SimCity Societies has gotten better??? And destinations looks pretty good??

Did I do good buying this pack? I am in the mood for City Building and wanted something new. I looked at Tropico (new one) but it was $40 and I just can Not justify spending that at this time - especially to See If I Like It......

Thanks for any and all info and support LOL - Hi Again All!!

Hi Mappam, long time no see.

Yes that's a good deal pack, but only IF you enjoy playing most of the game (other than that snapcity game) included with it.  It's actually about a 50% off box.  Figure that both SimCity 4 and Rush Hour sell for 19.99, and Societies and Destinations also sell for 19.99 and well that snapcity should just be free no matter what box it is in.

I still play SimCity 4 every now and then although most of my conversing about it are at simtropolis since we never managed to get any real audience for SimCity 4 over here at CBG.  I bought Tropico 3 when it was on a sale at steam, as were most of my recent acquisitions in games.  It's pretty much the only way that I'll buy a game now is if I find it on sale online, Im tired of paying full price for games that I know I'll never 100% complete.

I can't comment on the mods for societies or destinations I haven't checked them out in ages, I guess that's one more stop for me to start viewing every couple days.

Thanks and welcome back,

Hi CB and Thanks!

I am having a little bit of a problem with the Societies - have had to uninstall and reinstall and still there is some kind of problem. Hope that tomorrow I can read some forums to see what the problem is. I did enjoy it when I played it after it first came out.

I would like to get Tropico as I also enjoyed that - well the first one on Sandbox - and I understand the graphics are better on the new one.

Thanks again CB - Cya soon....
